Talk for Writing
Talk for Writing, developed by Pie Corbett, is a powerful tool to support children as they develop as writers. It enables them to imitate the language they need for a particular piece of writing orally, before reading and analysing it and then writing their own version. It emphasises the importance of speaking and listening skills and perfoming texts using actions before moving on to writing.
