Eco-School

What is an Eco-School?

Our School is part of the Eco-School programme. This means that we are committed to ensuring that our school is environmentally friendly and that we teach our children the importance of being eco-friendly. We are currently aiming to achieve a Green Flag for our school.

Whats is an Eco-Committe?

In order to monitor our success we have an action team made up of a pupil representative from each class in Years 2 - 6. The children meet regularly to discuss areas for improvement and also help to inform the rest of the school about our Eco status.

Eco Council Assembly

On Tuesday 4th October our Eco Council held an assembly for us.  They did a play about taking care of the environment.

We all agreed we would:
- Pick up our own litter
- Not waste food
- Not waste water
We also agreed that even though Eco Council would help us to remember these things, it is our responsibility to look after our world and we must all do our part.
